CAMBRIDGE, MA \u2013 July 11, 2016 \u2013 Montague Bikes, the leader in full-size folding bikes, has launched the all-new FIT<\/a>, a bicycle designed to deliver top-rated performance and portability for women looking for a versatile mode of transportation or to enhance their fitness regimens. Its full-size wheels and folding design offer the perfect solution to those looking for a bike that delivers the speed of a road bike, the flexibility of a city bike and a convenient design that can be quickly folded for transport or storage.<\/p>\n

The FIT comes equipped with a 30-speed Shimano drivetrain, perfect for hilly climbs, deep descents and long road excursions. Featuring Tektro disc brakes, a carbon fiber fork, and 28mm tires, the FIT is positioned among the industry’s best endurance road bikes. It also weighs only 26 lbs, making it very light and portable, something that is very important to women riders looking for a bike that can be easily carried when folded.<\/p>\n

Designed to provide the highest performance road ride of any foldable bike available, the FIT is ideal for workouts, commuting, weekend getaways and long endurance rides.<\/p>\n

When folded, the bike compacts to just 36 inches wide, 28 inches high and 12 inches deep, ideal for tight storage spaces. Its industry standard components make repairs and customizations possible at any bike shop.<\/p>\n

Like all Montague bikes, the FIT includes the patented DirectConnect\u2122 folding system that provides increased frame stiffness for superior ride quality, and can be folded and unfolded in less than 20 seconds. The FIT retails for $1,295.00.<\/p>\n
